Silk-screen. Paper. Here, to advertise a book by Tatsumi Hijikata, Yokoo employs a technique which he was fond of, that of reusing an old poster design for a new purpose. For this image he has retooled his poster for a La Maison de M. Cizecawa. The calligraphy in the middle of the poster (In Chinese) was drawn by the famous writer Mishima, one of the most influential writers of his generation and the mentor of Tatsumi Hijikata.
